What is Trinity
Trinity Methodist Church is found in the seaside town of Penarth, located on the coast between Cardiff and Barry. Historically the church is in the Wesleyan tradition but structurally it is quite unusual for a Methodist building. This listed building is built in the shape of a cross with a central altar, a pulpit to one side and also has the only spire in town.
There is a wide spread of ages across the congregation and about 100 people attend the main Sunday morning service at 10.30 a.m. Children leave part way through the service and carry on with learning and worship in the various departments of Junior Church. Many people take part in the service as stewards, local preachers and young people; there is quite a lively and friendly atmosphere. The church supports many local activities and there is something on in the church
every day. A warm welcome waits, so give us a try sometime.
