Baptism

Baptism, often called Christening, is the act, with the use of water, by which one is admitted to the Christian Church. Here at Trinity we welcome all to consider taking this essential step themselves, or to arrange it for members of their family. Baptisms are usually held in the middle of a Sunday morning service, so that all the congregation can welcome the newcomer, but can be arranged at other times if the family prefer.

Unlike weddings and funerals, there is of course no charge, although if the family choose to have the service at a special time, we may ask for a contribution to cover exceptional costs.
