Drama enhances worship and so forms a regular part of our services.
The Drama Group meet regularly to plan dramas, sketches, mimes, monologues and dramatic readings for Services and other occasions. We recently held an evening of Drama, including the one act play About Face by Steve and Janet Stickley of Footprints Theatre Company.
We are a lively and very welcoming group, who are always looking for new material - if we can’t find what we need we are not frightened of writing our own! We are always looking for new actors, of course. There is no membership and people of all ages are welcome, whether members of Trinity or just visiting.
Any technical help with lighting, sound, props, costume, staging, music, writing, publicity and administration is also very welcome, especially as we have big ambitions to put on a full-length play, a passion play and/or a musical in the future (watch this space!)
We currently meet on an ad-hoc basis, whenever we are called on to perform. We are planning to meet regularly in the summer on Monday evenings at 8.00 pm – announcement to follow. We can also perform for other churches and community groups by special arrangement.
Finally - we need your help. If you have enthusiasm and expertise (in that order) please come along and help us.
